If interested, the process is relatively straightforward. First, contact us either through the form below or through email, denise@sailboatartwork.com, to discuss the details of the project. This may include the size of the proposed painting, the subject matter, or details behind your sailing story.

Next Steps
The artist will follow up promptly via phone, email, or in person to discuss various ways to personalize your new painting with specific boats, landscapes, and sailing conditions that hold special meaning to you. After an initial, complimentary consultation, the artist will provide a detailed quote, which includes preliminary sketches and several chart ideas tailored to your preferences. Once the client approves the proposal, Denise will begin the painting process, keeping the client regularly informed throughout each stage. This collaborative approach allows the client to request any necessary adjustments or modifications before the painting is fully underway. From start to finish, the painting will take about 4 weeks. Once complete you will own an archival quality work of art, as well as a piece of maritime history
