Gybing into MontereyAcrylic painting of the Columbia Carbon 32, SIX BROTHERS, commemorating Spinnaker Cup/ May, 2018. The race was from San Francisco to Monterey and the first leg of California Offshore Race Week. The end of the race requires several high speed gybes over Monterey Canyon, a 3,600 meter depth submarine canyon on the Monterey Coast.
